Students who show aptitude can undertake further training/examination to become a registered BATD Teacher. NB BATD is an organisation validated by the Council of Dance Education and Training.
Undertaking grade syllabus work requires approximately between 14 and 18 months of weekly or twice weekly attendance. Consideration is given to students wishing to attend class midway through a grade. Please contact the school to establish the possibility of attendance in such a circumstance. As well as examination opportunity students are expected to perform in our biennial show at Eden Court, Inverness and are encouraged to participate in any workshops/masterclasses available. Students of the school of 13yrs plus who have a very high standard of dance and performance ability may audition (usually yearly) to become a member of our Dance Company and represent the school in a competition and performance capacity .
